At a glance Rash'a appears to be a loud and rather boisterous miqo'te with a penchant for mischief and fondness for practical jokes.Behind the happy-go-lucky facade, however, stands a man who has weathered tragedy and a broken heart.When the chips are down, one would be hard pressed to find a more steadfast healer. Armed with knowledge both of magical and medicinal healing, Rash'a is always ready and willing to come to the aid of his fellow man.While not fond of battle, Rash'a will spring to the defense of the innocent and fight for the greater good if he must. Sometimes quite recklessly.
Backstory
HistoryBorn in a typical keeper clan, Rash'a had a typical childhood. When he came of age, he set out on his own as keeper males usually do. He was, however, unprepared for the extreme disdain most Gridanian's held towards keepers.Treated like a common poacher, Rash'a chose to venture north, beyond the Black Shroud, into Corthas where he found he was, again, ill prepared. This time for the weather.A traveling Ishgardian apothecary happened upon the miqo'te, half frozen, and took the young man in as a ward of house Haillenarte and trained Rash'a in the art of healing via potions and tinctures as well as magical means via conjury.His story thus farAs an apothecary's assistant, Rash'a was able to travel to far off places, many of which fueled a thirst to see more of the world. One such occasion saw him meet his future wife. The two were smitten upon first glance and while their courtship was short, they were married and lived happily in Ishgard... For a time..
As was expected, J'rika's parents did not approve of her union to a keeper and would not tolerate his presence. In an effort to bridge that gap, J'rika paid a visit to her parents to introduce them to their newborn daughter.Alas, they were never to return. Shortly after their airship departed from Ala Mhigo, they were shot down by Garleans. Any who survived the crash were hunted down and killed.Rash'a did not take the news well and sunk into a deep depression, attempting to drown his sorrows at the Forgotten Knight. He eventually lost his job and even his wardship, leading to his being cast out of Ishgard and, once again, found himself alone and cold in Corthas.After the fall of Dalamud, Rasha made ends meet as a traveling apothecary and healer.Today he's come to Gridania, where everything began, to start anew. As an adventurer.
